After licking and biting his moose, tasting it, as it were, Charlie found he could no longer resist those long, dangling legs.  With a paw on the moose’s body, he took a leg in his mouth and with razor-sharp back teeth, silently sawed off a leg at the seam ~ severing it as cleanly as one could do with scissors.

Oh, this leg!
The whole is not greater than the sum of its parts ~ not according to Charlie.  Each part was a new toy to revel in!
