What an intent look. whatever has his attention must be very special.
Off subject, but I have been wanting to ask about the rooster with the bad foot. Is he still in the farmily?

The two adult coyotes that come and visit us often assume this same pose. It seems to be when some of the local crows are flying overhead. I wonder if they dive bomb the coyotes, either to drive them away from fledglings or to gather nesting material? Here in SoCal, their coats are about the same year-round, with none of the massive fur growth that Charlie sports, so the birds won’t get much to line their nests.
