• • • Howdy All!  I am exhausted.  There’s been a lot of action around these parts and what sounds most luxurious to me, right now, is to stretch out with a book I can get lost in.  Though perhaps stretching out with my laptop on my belly and reading your entries for the caption contest will do the trick!  And perhaps I might grant such a respite in giving away a signed copy of my book as this week’s prize.  Leave your title, caption, or cartoon-bubble-speak in the comment section and you’re in the running to win!!

    Hunting Woozles

And after a little while Pooh stops walking, and says that it’s very funny, but there are now two sets of paw-prints, which means…well, what does that mean?

“This…whatever-it-was…has now been joined by another…whatever-it-is… and they are now proceeding in company. Would you mind coming with me, Piglet, in case they turn out to be Hostile Animals?”

Luckily for Pooh, Piglet has nothing to do until Friday, and anyway he wants to find out whether they are really following a Woozle, or indeed, as Pooh points out, two Woozles, and so Pooh and Piglet set off together to do just that.

Hey. I know of the coyotes’ ways also. There was a coyote in my yard staring me down while Iwas in my car listening to The Doors. Two weeks later, his mate gave birth to a group of three in my pasture.Every night I’d go out to visit the boy, the girl, and the pups. Eager food for souls forgot. There is a story about how I know. I’ll tell it to you. Just reply. NO, I’M NOT INSANE. kovindavis@yahoo.com
